How difficult would it be for me to change out the barrel nut before I installed the barrel, of course

Depends on your capabilities of course. The 2 taper pins come out of the front sight base and are industry standard left to right.

Will this work for a gordo build? I plan to put the low profile 6 hole handguards and which gas system would be best?

The "Gordon" carbines used a 12.7 barrel for the AEM5 suppressor where the M4 Delta suppressor used a 14.5 barrel. They are both carbine length gas systems provided on the M4 SOCOM barrel, but remains dependent on the suppressor model you are using. The AEM5 or the M4 Delta require different barrel lengths.

Does it come with sight post and cap etc? Basically everything In picture? Some reviews said it did and some said it didn't.

The Luth-AR barrels do not come with the front sight post, spring or detent. The barrel only comes with a front sight base pinned and a handguard cap and the barrel nut installed.

This version of the Luth SOCOM barrel is not chrome lined. We do make the same barrel in a chrome lined version also.

The Luth-AR 5.56mm SOCOM 14.5in Barrel with Front Sight Base is made from 4150 CMV (not chrome lined).
