No, this stock does not have a magazine storage feature. You would instead need the X-22 Backpacker stock found here:

This does not include the optional cheek riser kit. You have to purchase that separately.

Yes, it's compatible - you just won't use the barrel clamp with the new stock.

No. It does not protrude conspicuously below the action. However, Rimfire caliber rifles are not considered “assault weapons” and can have features that centerfire rifles cannot.

Yes, the stock will accommodate all barrel profiles for the 10/22.
