Does this QD bipod have the pan feature like the other Magpul Bipods?

NO!! The swivel stud model DOES NOT PAN! You can read the specs on Magpul’s website. More expensive for less features- weird! Fortunately Optics Planet is great and I will be returning mine.

The Magpul Industries Sling Stud QD Bipod mounts via a sling stud. If you do not have a front sling stud present on your handguard you will need to purchase one in order to equip this bipod. Email us at Techsales@opticsplanet.com and let us know the exact model AR15 you have, that way we can better determine what you will need to purchase in order to install this bipod or recommend a bipod that will mount directly to your handguard without the need to purchase an adapter.

So I run a Bergara B14 HMH Creedmoor with a big ol Burris Signature HD-5. It is not a light, mobile rifle. Is it too much for this bipod?

The Magpul Industries Sling Stud QD Bipod should work fine with that rifle and set up. Magpul Industries does not state a weight limit with the Magpul Industries Sling Stud QD Bipod. The bipod at the link below is another option.

I have a magpul hunter American stock on my ruger 308. Will this bipod come with everything I need to mount it to my stock?

In order to mount the Magpul Industries Sling Stud QD Bipod to a Magpul Hunter American Stock you would need to get a swivel mount. Since that stock has MLOK mounting slots for a bipod I recommend using the Magpul Industries MLOK Bipod located at the link below. The MLOK Bipod will mount directly to that stock.

Will this work with my mossberg 142k with the sling bolt? And is the shortest?

The Magpul Industries Sling Stud QD Bipod attaches using the rifles sling swivel stud. So if your Mossberg 142K has a sling swivel stud in the forend, it will work with this Magpul Industries Sling Stud QD Bipod.

Yes. As long as you have the sling stud still on the stock, the Magpul Industries Sling Stud QD Bipod will fit.
