will a 18650 battery fit? they are the same length as two cr123s but slightly larger diameter.

Magpul states their STR Mil-Spec Carbine Stock will accommodate up to two (2) CR123A lithium or AA batteries. I would recommend contacting Magpul directly regarding compatibility with other batteries.

Does the qd attachment work on both sides? Some stocks I've read about the qd doesn't stay attached on the outside (for right handed shooters).

The QD sling mount's are at the rear of the stock and on both sides.

what's to stop any CR123 batteries from wobbling back and forth inside the storage tubes? Any suggestions are appreciated!

To avoid excess noise when storing batteries in the buttstock, you can use small buffers like a small cleaning patch/square, and place them on the front and back of each battery to decrease noise.

Each storage tube on the sides of the Magpul Industries STR Mil-Spec Carbine Stock can hold 2 AA batteries.

The Magpul Industries STR Mil-Spec Carbine Stock will fit carbine length, Mil-spec buffer tubes. So as long as you have a mil-spec carbine length buffer tube equipped, this stock will fit and function as intended.

This Magpul Industries STR Mil-Spec Carbine Stock fits on any carbine length, Mil-Spec buffer tube. So any Aero buffer tube that is carbine length and Mil-Spec will work. Make sure to check local, state, and federal laws when changing stocks and braces.

The Magpul Industries STR Mil-Spec Carbine Stock is 7.3 inches long, and 2.6 inches wide. It offers a 10.9 inch length of pull collapsed, and a 14.2 inch length of pull extended.

AR10 carbine buffer tubes are the same as AR15 carbine buffer tubes. This product will fit as long as you have a Mil-Spec carbine buffer tube on your AR10.
