It is designed specifically for the Magpul X22 Backpacker stock, it may fit other stocks with modification.

I fit this mount to the supplied Ruger factory stock, but you will need to do some work to the factory forend. The bottom rectangular part of the mount that has the release lever in it fits perfectly. The problem arises with the upper circular part of the mount that goes around the barrel, you will have to grind into the factory stock to allow the mount to sit down into the barrel channel for a proper fit. It is not difficult to do it just takes some time and patience with a Dremel tool. Third party stocks ??? will probably require similar modification. Hope this helps.

I'll second the above. Getting it to fit on the stock Ruger forend was simple. You can get the mount started so you know where it lines up, and then mark where the ring interferes. A small Dremel sanding disk and multiple light passes to slowly take away material leaves a good fit.
