Is the Alpha Scope warranty really only 2 years ? The Monstrum web site says "All Alpha scopes come with our no-hassle lifetime warranty".

The Monstrum Alpha Series 6-24x50 Rifle Scope as well as all Scopes, Optics and Tactical gear from Monstrum come with a 1-2 year warranty. Items still under their warranty period are applicable for a replacement for manufacturing related defects.
