I called the manufacturer and found it the footprint is proprietary to their own red dot sights. The sights that will fit are the NcSTAR Micro Tactical Green Dot Sight w/ On/Off Switch, Color: Black, Battery Type: 3V Lithium, CR2032 — 3 models
The P4 has 2 different reticle to choose from.
THe NcSTAR MARK III Gen3 Tactical 3-9x40 Rifle Scope exit pupil is 4.4- 13.3mm.
The NcSTAR MARK III Gen3 Tactical 3-9x40 Rifle Scope with the P4 reticle BDC and Mil-Dot BDC is designed to be calibrated with M193 55gr. ammunition and not 6.5 Grendel. You can still use this optic, but the BDC will not be accurate to your caliber.
The eye relief is 2.5".
According to the manufacturer, this scope is shockproof, waterproof, and fog proof. All NcStar optics are warranted and protected from defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product.
Yes, this will work on a .308 caliber firearm.
It’s typical of most 40mm scopes at night, it is not a night vision scope but will give you some light amplification similar to what you get from a pair of binoculars. I own this scope in black and it’s adequate on a rimfire application and even om my Scorpion 9mm Carbine, but you might be pushing your luck on anything larger. I like it on the Carbine though, it’s a good match.
Not without some kind of light source, this is not a night vision scope.
