What determines whether it’s 4 or 6? This 4/6 capacity makes no sense to me. And don’t say it’s how many shells I put in it cause then it’s 1-6capacit

The NcStar Universal 12 Gauge Shotshell Side Saddle 4/6 Capacity has an attachment on one end that holds 2 shells. That attachment can be used for a total of 6 shells or removed for a total of 4 shells.

Yes. The NcStar Universal 12 Gauge Shotshell Side Saddle features a Two piece design with dovetail slot so that the Side Saddle can be configured for 4 or 6 shells. It also features a Heavy Duty hook and loop fastener included for mounting onto most Shotgun receivers
