It will certainly mount to that rifle. You will need to use at least 1.375" mounts or rings. A good choice would be our 1.54" Ultramount. The rifle comes with a 20MOA rail so you may want to use a )MOA mount unless you are looking to shoot extreme ranges then a 20 MOA Ultramount would be compatible.
The NightForce ATACR 5-25x56 Rifle Scope comes with either an MOA reticle or Mil Radian reticle. NightForce ATACR 5-25x56 Rifle Scope models C553 and C555 have an MOA reticle. The NightForce ATACR 5-25x56 Rifle Scope model C554 has a Mil Radian reticle.
Hello. There will be a couple differences between the two. On the first focal plane you are able to range or dial at any power. Also when you change your magnification the reticle will shrink and grow depending on where you are in your power range. On the second focal plane to dial or range you must be at high power. Also when you change your power on the second focal plane the reticle will stay the same size. Hello! What optic are you putting on your rifle? Most likely the 1.5" will be best for this but depending on the objective end of your optic that may allow you to drop down in ring height. You would need rings or an AR mount with a base to center height between 1.4" - 1.6".
The CMMG Mk3 is an AR platform so any Extra High height or 1 piece AR mount will work. Here is a link to a Nightforce option that will work well:
