Could the .308 version work on a 30-06 Bolt Action rifle without breaking?

The Primary Arms OPMOD 4-14x44mm Rifle Scope .308 model could be used on a 30-06 rifle. However, the reticle holdovers wont necessarily be as accurate since they are designed for .308.

The scope will depend on the distance you will be shooting. However, the scope at the link below would be a good all around option for hunting.

Zeroing is user discretion, but 100 yards would be an applicable zero. This optic is good for 400-600 yard range.

The Primary Arms OPMOD 4-14x44mm Rifle Scope is offered with 2 different reticles. The ACSS HUD DMR 5.56 Reticle offers a host of great features in a clean intuitive design tuned for .223 Rem and 5.56 NATO. The ACSS HUD DMR .308 reticle is optimized for .308 but is compatible with some .223 Rem loads.
