What’s the difference between these and the “green tip” M855?

These are just a 62 grain projectile and m855 has a steel penetrator inside of the round.

Are these allowed in indoor ranges? I know they ban some kinds of ammo at some places.

Because it is labeled as "light armor piercing." I tried to explain it to Optics Planet, but they don't get it.

This PMC Ammunition 556K X-Tac 5.56x45mm NATO ammo can be fired in rifles chambered for 5.56x45mm NATO and rifles chambered for .223 Wylde. If your rifle is chambered in .223 Remington it is recommend you not shoot this PMC Ammunition 556K X-Tac 5.56x45mm NATO ammo in your rifle. Yes, the PMC Ammunition 556K X-Tac 5.56x45mm NATO ammunition can be used for Hog Hunting but how effective it will be depends on how far you are shooting and ultimately shot placement.
