The Reptilia ROF Riser is not intended to be used on a handgun nor would it be compatible with your FNX-45. To install an optic on your FNX-45, you need to use the adapter plates included with your FN.

I actually received my Reptilia ROF, and I was planning to return it after the expert answer said "It's not intended to be used on a handgun nor would it be compatible with my FNX-45." However I'm excited to say it fits perfectly, no exceptions. The FDE is an exact match to my FNX-45 Tactical. My red dot has a perfect marriage to the reptilian ROF. I'm in love, and very happy I didn't return it.
