I am looking for a red dot sight for my Ruger M-30. will this work on a rifle?

Expert Answer
A
Answered by Ethan, Gear Expert, from IL, United States, on September 14, 2022

The Riton Optics X3 Tactix MPRD Red Dot Sight does not come with a picatinny mount but would fit any mount that fits optics with the Leupold Deltapoint Pro footprint. Once mounted, it would function just fine with a rifle.

What is the size of the battery? Where does battery install at?

Expert Answer
A
Answered by Armando R., Gear Expert, from IL, United States, on April 30, 2021

The Riton MPRD uses a CR2032 battery and is a "bottom load" battery which means that the battery is installed from the bottom of the red dot and would need to be removed from what it is mounted too to replace the battery.

The Riton Optics X3 Tactix MPRD Red Dot Sight uses the Shield RMS footprint. To mount it to a Taurus G2C you will need a compatible dovetail mounting plate. Unfortunately we currently do not have a compatible dovetail mount for that gun.
