If you are having issues with your current scope ring setup, then I would recommend using a picatinny rail base where you can mount scope rings anywhere on the picatinny rail and use any scope rings you wanted to. The base I would recommend is the Evolution Gun Works Picatinny Scope Mount found using the following link:
