Yes, the Safariland 6378 ALS Paddle & Belt Slide Holster for the S&W Model 640 will also be compatible with your 340 PD. MPN:6378-01-411 (Right Hand), and MPN:6378-01-412 (Left Hand).

The Springfield Armory 1911 Safariland 6378 ALS Paddle & Belt Slide Holsters are designed for 1911's with rails. These are models 6378-56-411 and 6378-56-412.

Yes you need the Colt Commander fit. 6378-52-x (the x is for the draw hand and finish)

No, this holster will only accept XDM 9mm with barrel length up to 4.5 inches.
