Is this item also called a hand guard and will it work on a norinco Ak 47?

These Samson K-Rail Model for the AK-47 Rails/Handguards will only fit your Norinco AK47 if you modify them to fit. You would need to use the AK47 model handguards but they will need to be modified since they are designed for a 1mm receiver opposed to the 1.6mm receiver on Norinco AK rifles.
