Will the SBA3 Stabilizing Brace fit on any milspec carbine length buffer tube?

A
Answered by Jesse, guest, from WI, United States, on February 11, 2018

Yes, I emailed SB tactical and they confirmed that it will work on ANY standard carbine length buffer tube/receiver extension. They also said using your own tube and not theirs did NOT change the ATF ruling about the legality of the brace.

You would just need a mil-spec buffer tube. This would be a good option: https://www.opticsplanet.com/leapers-utg-buffer-tube-ar-15-mil-spec-6-position.html

would this fit a extar ep9 9mm pistol?

Expert Answer
A
Answered by Armando R., Gear Expert, from IL, United States, on July 20, 2018

No, it will not work on that pistol. That pistol uses a proprietary receiver extension that only works with standard pistol braces. This pistol brace requires a mil-spec receiver extension that is adjustable for length of pull.

What else do I need to buy to make this brace complete? (Spring, buffer, castle nut?)

A
Answered by TWANGnBANG, member, from NC, United States, on April 18, 2018

The SBA3 comes with a milspec carbine receiver extension. You'll need a castle nut for all installations and a carbine spring and buffer weight for installation on an AR15 lower.
