How is the dust kick if fired prone? The openings are near the bottom unlike the traditional bird nest style.

The Seekins Precision Nest Flash Hider will most likely cause more dust to be kicked up when firing prone when compared to a standard A2 bird cage style flash hider.

Yes, the Seekins Precision Nest Flash Hider will work on a Savage Minimalist in .22 WMR. The Seekins Precision Nest Flash Hider has 1/2x28 threads so it will work with the barrel threads of that rifle.

Total lux using cheap brass cased 55g ammo is right around .04, better than A2 and even some open prong hiders.
