I am very impressed with this sling. It's made from a good, supple nylon webbing. I bought it thinking "you know, it's what I'm looking for and the price is good... but I'm worried that it'll be cheap junk. Oh well, it's only twelve bucks." Well, you might as well have stolen a magpul sling for the price of this. JE Machine Tech did a really good job with making this a no-frills, totally practical sling. Some slings have a half a dozen buckles, rings, and clips spread across the length of the darn thing. This one keeps all the adjustability and modularity you need while keeping the hardware count on one hand. The quality of this thing is criminally good. And the kicker? Made in the United States of America. Buy this--heck, buy all three--for the cost of one magpul brand sling. It's a simple tool to retain your rifle and it does its job well. I can't underscore how delighted I am with the price and quality of this sling!
Regarding the construction:
The polymer buckles are pretty dang tough, and the clips are metal where it counts. The thumb loop stays open because there's double webbing stitched together. The adjustment slider is really easy to extend, but a little tougher to bring back in. The clips have got some anodizing that'll come off as other reviewers have mentioned, but the metallic part is so small that you'll hardly see it. If you're worried about the cosmetics of your sling, you're probably the type of guy to buy an $80 sling anyway. I bought the green color, and

I bought this light at a local store in May 2022 after seeing it recommended online. It has earned a permanent spot in my left pocket on the daily. It gets submerged, bashed, shaken and dropped frequently with no problems thus far. I can now read labels in the dark, spot critters on the side of the road, point at places, inspect tools and parts better, search for dropped things on the ground, the list goes on. I have been amazed at the utility this little light gives me.
Of course, any EDC light will perform the tasks above. But what this makes this light unique is that it will run on a AA battery or a 123-size battery. In fact, it will run on a AAA battery too in a pinch. The way it manages this is by having the bottom of the battery compartment travel on a spring to keep pressure on whatever size battery you have in there. The light itself is solid and the manual is helpful. I've used this light a lot over the past few months, and here are some things I've learned:
-The output is a proper, bright 300 lumens, though the color is on the colder side.
-The clip comes off with a little determination.
-The O-ring should be lubricated periodically (per the manual, read it).
-This light is low profile and doesn't weigh much. You could say "this light is light!"
-A CR123 battery will last me about a month of frequent use.
-After a battery is done, the flashlight goes into "limp" mode where the output is the same for high and low settings. It doesn't reduce over time, so you g

My brother bought this at a gun shop a while back, and it performs quite well. We are both impressed by it. A couple features that are pretty innovative about this sling:
-The buckle is welcome, allowing you to quickly detach yourself from your firearm if need be. Or to put the sling on without it becoming caught on your helmet and NV.
-The clips are mostly covered by an elastic shroud, making them silent when attached to your firearm.
-The stretchy portion allows for a little bit of extra tensioning if you want a tight wrap while aiming without cinching it tight all the time.
Stitching is good, buckles are good, D-rings are solid. You see so many overpriced slings on the market these days, unfortunately. What can I say, it's an effective sling that gets the job done.

I installed this lower parts kit in my AR in november of 2020, and I am happy to say that the parts are holding up nicely. The finish on everything is nitride, I think. This makes it super easy to clean and maintain. Every part is holding up well and I don't see any signs of wear after about 1000 rounds on the rifle. You get a solid lower parts kit for what you pay. Everything is bagged up in colored bags to make installing it in a stripped lower a walk in the park. They even included a few extra pins (roll pin, detent pin).
The pistol grip is superior in quality to others I've seen in two different cheap lower parts kits, so that's a plus if you like the A2 style grip. I should not comment on the trigger, as I had to slightly modify mine to fit in an 80% lower I (poorly) milled out. It's a solid wall until mush, and then it breaks somewhere in there. No grit, though. I'm not a trigger connoisseur, in fact I really don't care, but I am curious if my experience correlates with what other reviewers have written. It could have been my milling, but the safety required a couple dozen flicks to start loosening up.
Overall, I would give this lower parts kit from Doublestar five stars. It's a standard, well-functioning group of parts from a quality company, so I am quite satisfied with what I've gotten for the money.

I bought this stock for a lightweight build, and I am very pleased. As you can tell from the photos, it's essentially a rifle-length tube with a butt pad. The foam tube and sling mounts are nice, but what I really bought this for is the low weight. The thing comes in at only 17.4 ounces with the included buffer and spring, and only 10.05 without. And, it's tough as can be. I wouldn't hesitate to pry open a door with the tube or the butt plate (yes, it's metal too!)
The good:
-It's light, of course
-Very durable. You can crank on this thing as if it were a machined 7075-T6 aluminum pipe, because it is.
-Comes with buffer and spring
-The foam is good quality. Not as squishy as it looks in the photo, so it won't pick up much dirt.
-Super simple, there are no small parts to break
-All machined, nothing forged
The Bad:
-Not adjustable. From the back of the lower receiver to the middle of the butt pad is 10.5 inches. Plan accordingly
-Expensive for a stock
-Foam tube is a royal pain to install (more on that)
-The included sling "swivel" mount isn't really a swivel, and it will damage the threads on the mounting hole if you screw it in tight. I suggest you ditch it.
-The rubber butt pad must have shrunk in storage, because the holes needed some help to line up with the holes on the metal butt plate
The Ugly:
-The foam, but that's just a personal thing
-For me there's a very slight gap between the top of the butt plate and the butt pad. The rubber is squeezing away be
