Shaw barrels does not state if the Shaw 308 Winchester Hbar 22 in Flute, is dimpled or not. For that information I recommend contacting Shaw Barrels.

Yes the Shaw 308 Winchester Hbar 22 in Fluted Barrel will fit and function in your 716i. This barrel has a 1:10 twist, 0.750" dia. x 1.000" length gas journal and utilizes a rifle length gas system.

do i need barrel extension for this. And do i need to buy the barrel nut separately

The Shaw 308 Winchester Hbar 22" barrel will not include a barrel nut. This barrel features a 1-10 twist rate, HBar contour, 0.750" Dia. x 1.000" length gas journal, and 5/8x24 TPI. Each 22" barrel weighs 3.15 pounds but can vary due to the fluting process. I am not sure why you would need a barrel extension of some kind, I would recommend emailing us at Techsales@opticsplanet.com and letting us know what your specific build is so we can confirm fitment.

Will this barrel fit a DPMS .308 SASS G2 upper receiver?

In my experience, barrels do not fall under the proprietary nature of ar10's. However... sometimes handguards do. So in other words, pretty much any lr308 barrel should mate with any ar10 upper but do your homework on the handrail.
