Will this dot be a straight fit to a Rmsc cut? I have an Appollo 1911 and would prefer not to use adaptor plate to mount a larger dot. Thanks

The Shield Sights Compact Reflex Mini Red Dot Sight XL uses the RMS/RMSc footprint. Meaning it will fit any slide that uses an RMSc cut. However, it is wider than an RMSc, so you will have some overhang on either side of your slide.

Does this have an automatic shut off after no activity?

All our open emitter products are always on, they power down to almost zero when either in a dark space/safe/holster etc or using our cover which is included with the product. As soon as its removed it's back up to ambient light readings so no delay whatsoever.
