Sig Sauer does not offer a threaded barrel for the P229. Unfortunately, we do not have a third party barrel.

I think you are asking if this will work in a 229 .40 with a 9m slide it depends on the locking lug. A legion slide needs an 229-1 barrel to work as a caliber exchange on a 229 .40 frame you will also need 229-1a1 mags. It depends of year of manufacture of your 229.
