Beside hunting can this rangefinder be used for pin distance in golf? Be nice to be able to have one unit do all.

will this work for the DBX scope

The standard Kilo1000 does not contain BDX and cannot communicate with BDX devices. You could still use this rangefinder with the Digital Ballistic Reticle. The Kilo1000BDX would be able to communicate with the BDX scopes, and can be found by using the link below:

Yes. The SIG SAUER KILO1000 5x20mm Digital Ballistic Laser Rangefinder has the ability to range trees up to 800 yards, deer up to 600 yards, and reflective targets up to 1,200 yards.
