Is the setting 1-4 suppose to be visible under normal conditions? I can only see the red dot in setting 5. — 4 Answers

The unit has 10 daytime and 2-night vision settings. The settings 3-5 may be low and meant for low light conditions.

Ensure it's mounted with the dial on the muzzle end. If you put it on backwards, the dot will be faint, and you'll see a brighter dot at 7 o'clock. Confrim orientation, and it'll be nice and bright.

I still can't see 1-4 even in a blacked out room? I've concluded that it's only good from 5-10. NV is useless.

I received this sight yesterday. At first, settings 1-4 didn’t work, but after rotating the adjustment knob several times, they do work now. They are very faint, and I had to be in a very dark corner of the basement to see settings 1 and 2, but they do work.
