The SIG SAUER Romeo Zero Red Dot Sight can be mounted to a Ruger Security 9 using a dovetail mounting plate. However, we currently do not have a dovetail mounting plate for the Ruger Security 9 that fits the Shield RMSc/ SIG SAUER Romeo Zero Red Dot Sight footprint.

Since your Ruger Security 9 pistol is not optics ready, you would need to purchase and install an adapter plate that allows you to fit optics with the DeltaPoint Pro/Shield RMSc optic footprint. Unfortunately, we do not currently carry any plates that would be compatible. However, we do carry the Evolution Gun Works Trijicon RMR Sight for Ruger Security 9 which will allow you to install an optic with the Trijicon RMR footprint, and can be found by using the link below:
