Has anyone with an astigmatism used this? I am looking for a budget friendly sight, but my astigmatism is making it difficult. I appreciate any help. — 5 Answers

This can potentially be used by someone who has an astigmatism, but it really depends on your eyes and how bad your astigmatism is. Everyone's eyes are different which means we cannot guarantee that it will be perfect for your eyes. There are some users who have reported a clear and crisp dot with this red dot, but for example, I have had my hands on all of Sightmark's red dots and none of them have provided me with a perfect dot for my astigmatisms. So it unfortunately is a bit of a trial and error when it comes to red dots and finding the best option specifically for your use when having to work with an astigmatism.

Unfortunately there is no red dot that works well with astigmatism, but this has a crisp enough dot that it's typically still usable. It will also depend on how bad your astigmatism is.

I have astigmatism, bad enough that I cannot use my Eotech 512 red dot. I bought the previous version of this product called "Ultrashot M-spec FMS Reflex site 26010". And it is FANTASTIC - completely crisp and clear, razor sharp - WAYYYYY better than my Eotech 512, which goes for about $500. Since this product replaced the Sightmark 26010, it should be just as crisp for you.

Astigmatism, will make everything not clear, it sucks. I actually switched to contacts after 30 years, I wish I would have changed 25 years ago. If you don’t have glasses or contacts, I would suggest a 1MOA Green dot, by itself, no EOTECH rings, and run it At lowest possible setting. Hope this helps.
