The SightMark Volta Solar Red Dot Sight would be a great option for your IWI Tavor. There are many other red dot options that would work with your setup but it all depends on what your budget is, what specific features you are looking for, the kind of reticle you want, and what you plan to use your Tavor for. I would recommend emailing us at Techsales@opticsplanet.com and letting us know all of the specific features and budget you had in mind. That way we can more accurately recommend an optic that will work for you.

Is this night vision compatible?

Unfortunately the Volta is not NVG compatible.
However SightMark offers other NVG compatible reflex sights, such as the Ultra Shot series

Is there an auto-off / shake-to-wake feature...? Also, does sunlight activating the solar cell deactivate the battery usage when not needed...?

The optic unfortunately does not have an auto-off or shake awake feature. Additionally, the solar cell allows for use without batteries, but there is no info on if the battery power is preserved before that time.
