Will this work on a Tikka T1X 17HMR. What height rings would I need.

The Simmons 8 Point 3-9x50mm Rifle Scope would work with your Tikka. Due to the 50mm objective lens size, I would recommend using high height rings. You can also use this guide to assist in selecting the correct scope rings for your setup.

Is this scope suitable for a 45-70? I have both a Henry and an H&R.

Can I use this scope on a Remington 770, 30.06, rifle came with so-so scope I read about this one and they recommended ii, will need scope rings.

Yes you can use this scope for the firearms and ring height you will need is High and 1" tube scope rings.

what size flip caps will fit this scope

The manufacturer does not list the outside diameters of the lenses so you will need to measure the outside diameters to the closest millimeter and find the appropriate Butler Creek covers that match.

What size scope rings do I use with this scope ?

This scope has a 1" tube size, so you would need 1" rings. The height of the rings would depend on what firearm you are mounting the scope to.
