Is this a “rifle” length buffer tube for the AR10/DPMS platform!

A
Answered by Tim, member, from CA, United States, on August 26, 2020

This is an AR10 buffer tube slightly longer than a carbine tube for use in a 308 with a standard 3.25 inch buffer. Same size as an A5 buffer tube.

Will this work with Armaspec Stealth Recoil spring?

Expert Answer
A
Answered by Hunter, Gear Expert, from OH, United States, on August 08, 2022

The Armaspec AR-15/AR-10 Stealth Recoil Spring will work with carbine length buffer tubes. The Spikes Tactical Buffer Tube - .308 is 7 7/8" long which is slightly longer than most Mil-Spec carbine length buffer tubes. I recommend contacting Armaspec to confirm compatibility of the Armaspec AR-15/AR-10 Stealth Recoil Spring with this buffer tube.

A mil-spec carbine buffer will work with this tube. You will need a 308 buffer spring for it though.
