Does the new 2.0 model mount directly to aftermarket "scout" mounts(ariska)?

The Streamlight ProTac 2.0 Rail Mount Weapon Light mounts to picatinny rail and will not work with an aftermarket mount.

This Streamlight ProTac 2.0 Rail Mount Weapon Light includes straight momentary pressure switch, (1) SL-B50 battery pack, mounting hardware, USB-C cord and M-LOK mount - Black.

Can you use multiple cr123A batteries to power the light?

This Streamlight ProTac 2.0 Rail Mount Weapon Light uses an (included) rechargeable SL-B50 protected Li-Ion battery. It is not compatible with CR123 batteries. The Streamlight ProTac Rail Mount 2 Long Gun Light model: 88059 uses CR123 batteries and can be found by using the link below:

Can the pressure switch be mounted on the hand guard of a pump shotgun?

Yes, the pressure switch can be mounted to the handguard of a shotgun. You can use the included double sided tape to attach the switch to any smooth surface. If you have a picatinny or M-LOK rail, you can purchase a tape switch mount like the Cloud Defensive Light Control System for Streamlight ProTac Switch (linked below).

Can you activate the strobe function from the remote pressure switch?

The pressure switch included with the Streamlight ProTac 2.0 Rail Mount Weapon Light will only allow for momentary activation of the light. The Tailcap switch will allow for one of three different programs: 1.) high/strobe; 2.) high only; 3.) low/high.
