1500 lumens when using the rechargeable batteries, this model ships with CR123A batteries

The answer is…. Both. The TLR-1 HLX outputs 1000 lumens and 15k candela with CR123 batteries and 1500 lumens and 20k candela with streamlight SL-B9 rechargeable batteries. This product number (69500) ships with CR123 batteries. But if you have (or purchase) 2 SL-B9 batteries and put them in this same light it will produce 1500lm and 20k candela. Or you can search “streamlight 69501” here on OPTICSPLANET and buy the same light that ships with the SL-B9 batteries from the factory. Either way…. It’s the same light body…. Just different batteries. I always search the item number on streamlight’s website just to make sure, because their product id’s and names are super confusing!
