Will this light / laser fit the Sig P230 XCompact? Concern it will protrude past the barrel?

The Streamlight TLR-8A Weapon Light and Laser will protrude approx. 0.3" past the end of your slide. However, this shouldn't be a major issue. You may accumulate some carbon on the lens, but you can clean the lens in order to restore the light.

the 69412 comes with the low switch and the 69413 comes with the high switch.

How long will the cr123a battery last?

The Streamlight TLR-8A has a battery life (with the CR123A) of 1.5 hours to 10% output level. Laser only: 29 hours.
