Is a pistol spring lighter weight than carbine weight spring? (example: say 13lbs to 15lbs. compressed) ? weight meaning compressing weight.

The weight of the spring can vary on design and intended purpose. Strike Industries does not provide the weight of their AR Pistol Flat Wire Spring. It is specifically designed for pistol length buffer tubes. The weight of your buffer will greatly determine reliability and functionality compared to the spring. Is this flat wire buffer spring compatible with a SI h3 buffer in a 7.5" AR pistol?

Can this be used with a sb3 pistol brace? Being that the tube is described as a ”carbine” length tube.

This is compatible with any AR system with a Pistol Length Buffer System. The SBA3 operates off a carbine buffer system, so the carbine length spring should be a better fit.

What is the width of the spring? I’ve read that the pdw viper buffer tube has a slightly smaller diameter buffer tube. Will this fit?
