The .223 model is 1/2x28 and the .308 model is 5/8x24.

The CC COMP 308 model is only compatible with .308/300bo barrels with a 5/8x24 thread pitch.

Why doesn't it come with a jam nut? It won't always clock right with a crush washer. It's also a chunk of metal and adds a little weight.
