This optic is not intended for close quarters, it will be difficult to use this optic a ranges of 10 yards or less.

The title/description says MOA & the specification says BDC. This is not a BDC reticle. It is a trident MOA.

BDC means Ballistic Drop Compensation. This reticle uses BDC hash marks, so this is a BDC reticle that uses MOA measurements.

Does this model have the MOA or BDC reticle? Below the product picture it says MOA but down in the specifications it says BDC.

Etched reticle? I prefer those in the bright environment where I do most of my shooting but like illumination for low light.

Yes the reticle is etched. Has 2 settings for night vision and 9 brightness settings for low light

It honestly looks too high for an AK platform rifle, but it's tough to judge from pics. Will an AK require an elevated cheek weld?

The Swampfox Trihawk 3x30mm Prism Scope features a 1.4" centerline height, which is not ideal for the AK platform. On top of that, it requires 2.36" of eye relief, which can also be and issue with the AK platform. And elevated cheek rest with an adjustable stock would allow you to use this optic much more effectively.

With this Trihawk, can it cowitness with a red dot? In general, can a prism scope cowitness with let’s say a vortex SPARC or a Vortex Venom?

Optics with magnification, like this one, generally are not able to effectively co-witness. Some prism scopes do not have magnification (1x) and will be able to co-witness.
