The Tacmod Complete Buttstock Assembly will require you to use a carbine length buffer and buffer spring. The weight of the buffer will depend on your exact setup. For more information, email us at Techsales@opticsplanet.com.

Except the photo shows the buffer tube does not have the under tube “rail” that the carbine collapsing stock uses to guide and lock in place. It’s more like the standard full length A1 tube, which has no rail.

If it is carbine length then it’s a custom tube — rail-less and carbine length. Which I doubt. If the photo is right (and not a prototype or some mistakenly other buttock) it’s probably an A1 rifle length buffer tube (note the screw-nipple for the A2 extension).

But I could be mistaken.
