This jacket is not made in the US. Unfortunately we do not have anything similar made in the US. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Please note ECWCS does not stand for "Extreme Cold Weather...". It either stands for Extended Cold Weather Clothing System or Extended Climate Warfighter Clothing System. The goal of this system is layering, so normally the parka in the system does not need to have insulation because you are supposed to have layered clothing below the parka that acts as the insulation. The parka is meant to keep out moisture and be windproof. It is essentially a shell that covers the rest of the system from getting wet. I would not recommend this jacket alone in cold winter weather unless you are sufficiently layered with base and mid-layers.

XL should fit you, but you can find the full sizing chart on the manufacturer's page here: https://www.truspec.com/outerwear/h2o-proof-outerwear/h2o-proof-gen2-ecwcs-parka

Should be similar to size chart; the vast majority of buyers have indicated true to size.
