Is this barrel rated for +p ammunition?

True Precision states that factory loaded SAAMI Spec +P ammunition can be used with there parts but should be used in moderation. There parts are not compatible with +P+ or ++P ammunition.

What compensator do you recommend for this barrel?

I would recommend using the Faxon Firearms EXOS-524 Pistol Compensator for M&P Shield/Shield Plus, which was specifically designed for the contours of the slide and frame on the Shield and Shield Plus to allow for a more flush fit and proper functionality. The compensator can be found by using the link below:

No. The True Precision Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 9 Threaded Barrel is designed to fit the original M&P Shield 9mm, M2.0 Shield 9mm, and Shield PLUS 9mm. Overall length is 3.65". Will this work with shield plus performance center 9mm

The True Precision Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 9 Threaded Barrel will not fit a Shield Plus Performance Center model M&P. This barrel is 3.1" while the Performance center uses a 4" barrel.

The True Precision Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 9 Threaded Barrel will not work with the Performance Center Shield Plus Model with a 4 " barrel. The True Precision Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 9 Threaded Barrel is compatible with the standard Shield models and Shield Plus with a 3.1" barrel.

What is the exact length of the barrel? Because oem barrel is 3” so I’m assuming it’s a little more than 3.5”
