The TruGlo TFO Fiber Optic Handgut Sight Set should be compatible with your Springfield 1911 Operator since it uses a Novak cut. However, some minor modification may be required.

Will this fit a Taurus pt1911 45? I've heard Taurus's don't fit well with most Novak sights

Unfortunately Taurus uses their own proprietary sight cut on their 1911 pistols. It is similar to the Novak style, but with slightly different dimensions. These will not fit without modification.
