You could use the 5.3oz. V Seven Enhanced Teflon Coated Buffer with a pistol 9mm setup. Typically, 9mm builds will use a buffer that varies from 5.0 - 8.5 oz depending on the specific setup. So the 5.3oz. buffer should work just fine, although I would recommend using the ODIN Works 9mm Adjustable Buffer which will allow you to tune the weight from 5.4oz - 7.4oz to allow you to find the perfect weight for your setup.
