Are there any products that dont fit up properly with this. I couldn't get mine to fit up properly with a mk12 gas block from DD.

Because of variances between gas blocks, there's no guarantee its going to work with all available options on the market, and unfortunately there is no comprehensive list of compatible options. The only fitment information provided for these gas tubes is the following:

PLEASE NOTE: GAS TUBE MUST BE INSTALLED IN THE GAS BLOCK PRIOR TO SEATING THE GAS BLOCK TO THE BARREL.
**EXT-gas tubes do not fit with Aero Precision Enhanced Upper Receivers (M4E1 & M5E1), or Seekins Precision SAR Handguards.

For a 16 inch barrel, would I buy carbine length or Rifle length?

16" barrels will typically have either a carbine or mid length gas system. Email us at Techsales@opticsplanet.com so we can verify your gas system length and recommend the correct gas tube for your setup.
