This is not designed for adjustable braces, it is designed for slip-on braces only.

What is the OD of the tube itself? Would it need to be turned down to fit a Tail Hook MOD 1C?

The OD of the tube is 1.17". We do not know if the Tail Hook MOD 1C will work.

How do you adjust the pistol brace if there’s no holes in the buffer tube?

The Vltor A5 Pistol Kit is designed to be used with arm braces, and not adjustable braces. It provided the benefits of the A5 system (Rifle length tube) with a 5.3oz buffer to help reduce recoil impulse.

Will it not work whatsoever w/ Law Tactical adapter? 10.5” 300 b.o, adj gas block, adapter, vltor ext. pistol kit. Can’t fix cycle issues.

Is the tube solid round to where I can use a foam or is it adjustable?

RE-PA5: VLTOR A5 Pistol Tube and it was designed when the ATF said we could not have a tube with the ability to take a stock. So the RE-PA5 is larger in diameter and has no position rail. The RE-A5 and RE-10/A5SR Receiver Extension are both compatible with adjustable braces.

I'm just curious why this will not work with the sba3? Will this only not work with the sba3 when the law tactical is also installed?

The tube that comes with the A5 Pistol Kit is the RE-PA5: VLTOR A5 Pistol Tube and it was designed when the ATF said we could not have a tube with the ability to take a stock. So the RE-PA5 is larger in diameter and has no position rail. The RE-A5 and RE-10/A5SR Receiver Extension are both compatible with adjustable braces

Is the spring and buffer the same that comes in regular a5 kit?

Yes, it comes with the A5H2 buffer and a rifle spring. The only difference is it comes with the RE-PA5: VLTOR A5 Pistol Tube instead of the RE-A5: A5 Receiver Extension Tube.
