Unfortunately we have not tested this combination with our RE-A5 Buffer tube.
The RE-A5 will work with the PRS Lite stock, however we recommend only using our A5 Buffers with this tube for the AR-15 platform.
The MOE-SL and STR will collapse fully on the RE-A5 tube. We don't have data on the other stocks.
No, this is just the tube itself.
The A5 Tube can be used on an AR-10 in conjunction with a standard AR-15 Buffer and Carbine Spring (Sprinco Red)
The Vltor REA5 A5 Receiver Extension will be compatible with the Super 42 Rifle length spring as long as you pair it with an A5 specific buffer.
Yes. As long as you have a Mil-spec AR15 style lower receiver then the Vltor REA5 A5 Receiver Extension will fit. You can use any Mil-spec style buttstock with this extension tube.
Both the RE-A5 and RE-10/A5SR are the same overall length. The only difference is the the RE-A5 has seven position and the RE-10/A5SR has six. Due to the added length of the A5 system most mil-spec carbine stocks and braces will not fully collapse on the A5 Receiver Extensions. Depending on the carbine stock or brace that is used you will be able to use around 5 of the position on each A5 Receiver Extensions. If you wanted a stock that could use all position I do recommend the Vltor EMOD.
Yes it does have 7 positions.
Yes, you can use the A5 buffer and rifle spring in all three of our A5 Receiver Extension (RE-PA5, RE-A5 and RE-10/A5SR). Although each build may call for different A5 buffer weight to get the best results. Please keep in mind you can not use the A5 Receiver Extension with a carbine buffer and spring it will cause damage to the firearm.
