Can you use the Vortex monocular for golf to find the range to the flag/pin?

The Vortex 8x25 Solo Compact Waterproof Monocular is not intended for use with golfing. It also is not capable of ranging objects like a pin. I would recommend using a dedicated rangefinder for golf ranging purposes like the Athlon Optics Talos 800 Yard Golf Rangefinder, found by using the link below:

Using a Phone Skope mini-optic adapter, as well as an appropriate Phone Skope cellphone adapter, like the Lollipop Universal, you can absolutely pair the Solo 8x25 to a smart phone!

No there is not. This meant for hand held monocular.

There are no lens covers for this unit. The objective end is tapered and there are no "extended" eye pieces for the ocular lens.
