Good afternoon!

On the AR-Platform, a cantilever mount is indeed the advantageous mount to use, and will position the optic at an appropriate height for proper cheekweld, very typically without the use of any additional risers!

The Sport- and Pro-Series cantilever mounts in 30mm would be ideally suited.

The accuracy is more dependent on the skill of the shooter and the accuracy of the rifle. Typically more magnification can aid the shooter in being more accurate.

This rifle scope does not have a zero stop.This is the description by Vortex for the turrets: "The Diamondback® Tactical scopes feature tactical windage and elevation turrets with Zero Reset making adjustments back to zero easy and quick."
