Very good. I have one on my Bergara HMR B14. The only thing I don’t like is the lack of zero stop turrets.

Absolutely. I have mine paired with a Ruger Predator 6.5 The hash marks for hold overs and windage are spot on.

The short answer is yes. Depending on your purpose and price range, there could be better options but I can’t think of a situation where your budget is $250 that this wouldn’t be a good option unless you wanted a scope specifically for an AR at close range. Question needs to be more specific because the caliber of the rifle typically has nothing to do with the scope.
