The main difference is that with the new models of the Vortex Viper HD 10x42mm Roof Prism Binoculars is that the field of view at 1000 yards increased to 341 feet and they come with the glass pak binocular harness. They still have quality glass and the Vortex Lifetime Warranty.

These are the newest models. The picture matches the newest models and the part number is completely different between the updated models and the older models. This part number, picture and product is the newest 10x42 HD's from Vortex.
