I’m guessing this should work with any rifle with the correct thread and caliber size right?

If it's .308 Winchester and 5/8x24 thread pitch, yes. It was optimized for use on an 18" barrel on the AR-10 platform, but it of course can be used on other rifles. That said, just know that the shorter the barrel, the more concussive any muzzle brake will be. For that reason, we don't recommend using it on an ultra-short barrel in 308 Win.

Would this work well with a 7.5" 300 Blackout AR15 Pistol?

Yes. The Walker Defense Research Nero 762 Hybrid Muzzle Brake and Compensator will fit 5/8x24 threads and is bored to accommodate calibers with a bullet diameter of 0.308" or less. It is designed to reduce recoil, minimize muzzle climb, and manage felt concussion relative to traditional muzzle brakes.
