What makes the Dark Matter® BCG different from other bolt carrier groups?
The Dark Matter BCG features a three-stage surface treatment and high-polish DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating for exceptional durability and reduced friction. Each unit uses an 8620 Tool Steel carrier and C158 Steel bolt, both HPT/MPI tested. Components are hand-matched in small batches, avoiding tolerance stacking and ensuring reliability for your bolt carrier group.
What is Inconel and why do you use it for the NERO® muzzle brakes?
Inconel is a nickel-chromium superalloy used in aerospace and extreme-environment applications. We chose Inconel 718 for all NERO muzzle brakes (556, 762, and 9mm variants) because it withstands temperatures exceeding 1,200°F without degradation, offers superior corrosion resistance, and maintains structural integrity under the intense heat and pressure of rapid fire.
