If it's .308 Winchester and 5/8x24 thread pitch, yes. It was optimized for use on an 18" barrel on the AR-10 platform, but it of course can be used on other rifles. That said, just know that the shorter the barrel, the more concussive any muzzle brake will be. For that reason, we don't recommend using it on an ultra-short barrel in 308 Win.
